This was our first shoot back from the total lock downs of Covid, so working safely with top talent in the middle of the hockey season meant some pretty complex coordination for our full sized crew. That being said, we weren’t going to compromise on putting dynamic driving shots shot in the desert outside Las Vegas with a MotoCrane in visual conversation with incredible skating. To do this we built a custom camera rig and hired a college hockey player to operate it on the ice with speed and precision. To top it off we spent an great afternoon with Alex and his amazing family, covering the scene and keeping things moving for the little ones.
